Whether you are interested in creative arts, computing, engineering or business, there is a programme at the International Study Centre to suit you. Each programme will raise your academic skills, English language level and study skills to help you prepare for your chosen degree at the University of Huddersfield.
Each programme has a number of routes with modules designed to focus on the academic area most useful to your chosen degree. Once you complete the programme and achieve the required grades, you can start your degree at the University.
Our pathway programmes are a great way to prepare for university study and offer unique modules and courses for international students. University pathways will focus on your academic knowledge and English language skills and you will study subject-specific modules alongside your core modules.
If you are not sure which international programme is right for you, we can help you decide. A good starting point is to consider your age, education, grades, English language level and your university and career aspirations and goals.
There is now the option to begin either the International Foundation Year or International Year One in February. If you start at the ISC in February, you will complete your pathway programme and progress to the University of Huddersfield (upon successfully achieving the progression requirements) at the same time as the January students. Explore your chosen programme below to find out more about the February intake and the full semester dates.
Please note: the February start date is not available for Pre-Master's students.
