We are a proud to announce that the University of Huddersfield has been awarded the highest accolade in the Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF), a new scheme that rewards and recognises teaching excellence.

Newly established by the UK government, the TEF awards are judged by an independent panel of academics, students and employers. The panel reviews national data alongside evidence submitted by the university.

What the TEF measures

  • Teaching quality
  • Learning environment
  • Educational and professional outcomes of students.

Ultimately, the goal is to support students to make the best possible choice when choosing a university in the UK.
